Abstract
Background Low back pain (LBP) is a very common health problem worldwide and a major cause of disability affecting work performance and general well-being. In Denmark, LBP is the leading cause according to WHOs Global Burden of Disease study and amounts to approximately 15 billion Danish kroner per year - the major part (65-75%) due to government transfer.
