Abstract

The article presents the results of a study on the relationship between manifestations of psychological well-being and sexuality. Scientific interest in the problem of sexuality, its relationship with all spheres of personal life continues to expand the understanding of this phenomenon. Sexuality as a phenomenon is included in various aspects of human life. This is a direct way out of the need to study sexuality in relation to the psychological well-being of an individual. Based on the correlation analysis, no significant links were found between the overall total score of psychological well-being and self-esteem of sexuality. At the same time, such components of psychological well-being as self-acceptance, environmental management, and purpose in life are interrelated with self-esteem of sexuality. It was established that this triad acts as a kind of prerequisite for one’s own ideas about sexuality.
