Abstract

Introduction: Defence research organizations across the world use the Load Effects Assessment Program (LEAP), a military mission obstacle course, to assess the impact of clothing and individual equipment on warfighter performance. However, there is interest in understanding the impact of a participant's physical characteristics on performance. This study investigated the role of strength on obstacle course completion times with a variety of loads.
