Abstract

Stereoscopic imaging TV is expected to be the next generation TV. This kind of TV is based on the artificial stereoscopic images in which there are great differences in perception in comparison between 2D and 3D TV. The relationship between spatiotemporal analysis of EEG activity and the differences between ID and 3D TV watching were studied. The results obtained indicate that in 3D TV, more characteristics EEG changes were revealed, such as the frontal midline theta activity, caused by heighten concentration in comparison with 2D TV.
