Abstract

Objective To detect the expression of NF-κB in the detection of diabetic rat lungs to study whether diabetes can lead to enhanced expression of NF-κB in the lungs resulting in lung injury of varying degrees. Methods 30 cases of 10 weeks old SD rats were randomly divided into normal control group (group A, male and female 5), diabetic model group (B group, male and female 10) with streptozotocin induced by 12 weeks diabetic rat model. Model after 12 weeks, all rats were 20% urethane 1.35 g/kg intraperitoneal injection of anesthesia were sacrificed, and were taken to the left lower lobe. The percentage of positive area of lung tissue inflammation in the degree of immunohistochemical method for detection of lung tissue NF-κB expression was observed under an optical microscope. Results ① lung inflammation observed: no inflammatory cells in the lung tissue of most of the normal control rats. Diabetic model group visible sheet inflammatory cell aggregation, the local alveolar structure disappeared; ②of NF-κB expression: NF-κB was mainly expressed in the trachea, alveolar epithelial cells, the epithelial cells of the vascular wall and expression but significantly weaker than the expression on the former two. Positive expression of normal lung tissue of the control group was significantly weaker than the DM group. Respectively rank sum test (P<0.05) with significant difference between the expression of the normal control group and diabetic model rats lung bronchial epithelial cells and alveolar wall epithelial cells, NF-κB. Conclusions NF-κB expression in type 2 diabetic rat model of lung tissue significantly increased while inflammation of the degree of change compared with control group was significantly heavier, so we have come to the conclusion of type 2 diabetes so that the lungs of rats with NF-κB expression increased, the increase in the expression of NF-κB has become an important risk factor for lung lesions of varying degrees of diabetes.
