Abstract

This study attempts to reveal the relationship between parental autonomy support and psychological control, the basic psychological needs satisfaction and basic psychological needs frustration, and lying in a high stake situation. In this study, the following conclusions were drawn: (1) Autonomy support negatively predicted lying in a high stake situation. Psychological control partially positively predicted lying in a high stake situation. (2)Basic psychological needs satisfaction and frustration played a mediating role between autonomy support, psychological control and lying in a high stake situation.
