Abstract
The purpose of the present study is to investigate the relationship between attachment lifestyles with depression and Anxiety of the political students. The study's population includes Political students of Payame Noor University in Sanandaj city during the academic year of 2012-2013. A random sample consisting of 100 individuals was used. The measuring instruments were the adult attachment scale, Beck Depression Inventory, and Kattel Anxiety Inventory. The Pearson Correlation Coefficient and multivariate regression were used to analyze data. The results showed that there are significant negative relationships be- tween students' secure attachment styles with depression and Anxiety. The results also indicated a positive significant rela- tionship between insecure (avoidant) attachment style and insecure (anxious-ambivalent) with students' depression and Anxiety.
