Abstract

Strategy orientation is very important to improve organizational performance and achieve the competitive advantage. Therefore, how to improve innovation performance is not only a key research question, but also a serious practice problem. Based on theoretical analysis, a research model on the relationship among high-tech enterprises' strategic orientation, network capability and innovation performance is constructed; then multiple regression and structural equation model are applied in order to verify research hypothesizes based on the survey data from 237 high-tech enterprises with Chinese transition economy. Research results indicate that high-tech enterprises' strategic orientation has a significant positive effect on network capability and innovation performance, meanwhile network capability play a fully mediates role in the relationship between high-tech enterprises' strategic orientation and innovation performance.
