Abstract

In order to investigate the relationship among cognitive appraisal, psychological control, social support and employment stress in university students,400 graduates were randomly selected as subjects coming from certain university to research the relationship. In results, there are negatively correlative between positive cognition appraisal, psychological control, social support and the employment stress, and positively correlative between negative cognition appraisal, psychological control, social support and the employment stress. Negative cognition appraisal, psychological control, social support had directly effect on the employ stress, but positive cognition appraisal had in directly effect on the employment stress through psychological control and social support. According to the investigation, in respect of social support, seeking social support among girls was higher than boys and there were obvious differences in emotion expression between different gender groups. In conclusion, there are distinct correlatives between cognition appraisal, psychological control, social support and the employment stress.
