Abstract

The sodalite structure can be regarded as a three-dimensional framework of corner-connected tetrahedra. By tilting the tetrahedra through various angles equivalent frameworks in the structures of α-Mn, sodalite and Sb2TI7 are obtained. The complete structures are obtained by filling the large interstices in these frameworks with various atom groups.
