Abstract

The atomic positions of the tetragonal phase P4/nmm of WO3 were refined using a novel high-temperature X-ray powder diffractometer with a curved position sensitive detector (PSD). In addition, the lattice parameters of WO3 from room temperature to 1200K have been measured. Comparison is made with the results obtained by neutron powder diffraction.
