Abstract
Just as research has demonstrated that judgment and perception of objects and events are influenced by the frame of reference, we need to explore the precise relationship between the “view and point of view.” Just what features are and are not affected by a particular frame of reference? What features remain constant and invariant? Are some frames of reference more appropriate than others in revealing certain aspects of an object or event?
