Abstract

The repair of small or superficial nasal wounds has not received as much attention in the plastic surgery literature as the reconstruction of large or complex defects, and yet managing patients with these problems can be extremely challenging. A strategy for repair can be successfully developed based on the size and location of the defect and the patient in whom it arises. Judicious use of primary closure, skin grafts, and local flaps can yield satisfactory and gratifying results.
