Abstract

The recognition of hybrid modulation signal combined with pseudo-random binary phase code (PRBC) and linear frequency modulation (LFM) is investigated. Firstly, with the help of binary tree, we present a recognition methodology for signals including PRBC-LFM hybrid modulation signal, BPSK signal and LFM signal based on phase unwrap and instantaneous frequency(IF). What's more, the decision of recognition thresholds based on Neyman-Pearson (N-P) criterion is discussed and analyzed in detail. In the end, the simulations about recognition of PRBC-LFM signal are implemented, and results indicate our methodology possesses fine recognition performance in proper SNR levels.
