Abstract

Contemporarily, high-speed railway serves as an extremely important role in human beings’ daily in normal life. It possesses the features of cheap, fast and safer for citizens to travel by high-speed train, which can carry more people compared with airplane. In this paper, the recent progress and the state-of-art techniques for high-speed railway will be demonstrated. Especially, the crucial aerodynamic problems are evaluated analytically, e.g., the wind across the train or the shape of the head train. These results shed light on guiding further exploration of high-speed railway.
