Abstract

The study aimed to identify the level of academic leaders practice in Jordanian universities to lead negotiation based on Gerard Nirenberg's principles. The study sample consisted of (156) academic leaders in Jordanian universities. The researchers used a descriptive methodology. The results indicated that there was a high degree of negotiation leaders practice among academic leaders in Jordanian universities.The results also indicated that there were no statistically significant differences regarding each of the variables of the position, and gender, While the results showed that there were statistically significant differences in the reality of academic leaders practice due to the variable of experience in favor of experience from 6-10 years. According to the results, the researchers recommended to develop the negotiation capabilities through practice, training, holding courses and seminars, and increasing awareness of negotiation skills and principles among academic leaders.
