Abstract

The sharing economy platforms spread widely and broadly achieving great economic growth and the participatory transport sector occupied great importance and spread in many foreign and Arab countries, including Iraq such as (Taxi Careem). The study found the spread of the participatory transport culture and its multiplicity of uses among the groups of Iraqi society, and it was able to establish and open markets for participatory transport, and as it appeared in the results of the questionnaire, the customers and captains were from different age groups, different educational levels and in different regions of the governorates with service coverage. The study recommends that the Iraqi government provide an encouraging environment for the growth of the participatory economy in its various activities, by building a supportive technological infrastructure to overcome the problems of Internet reluctance and communication obstacles, especially since the participatory economy is based on digital technologies. Regulatory frameworks must also be developed for companies operating in the participatory economy. in Iraq to organize its work.
