Abstract

The reactions 68, 70Zn( 3He, d) 69, 71Ga have been studied at E 3 He = 15 and 17 MeV respectively with a broad-range magnetic spectrograph and analysed in terms of the distorted-wave Born approximation. Energies, spins, parities and spectroscopic factors of levels up to about 5 MeV excitation energy have been determined for each of the nuclei 69, 71Ga. Total strengths and centres of gravity for the proton single-particle states are presented. Information is obtained about the zinc nuclei ground-state configurations. The systematic trends of the level structure of the odd-mass nuclei 65,67,69,71Ga are presented.
