Abstract
Abstract The reaction of bromoketones with organocuprates and lithium 2,6-ditert-butyl-4-methylphenoxide in ether affords good to excellent yields of ketones. The alkyl or alkenyl group is introduced via a conjugate addition to an in situ derived bridgehead enone.
