The reaction of α-diketones with primary heteroaromatic amines.Synthesis and reactions of imidazo[1, 2- a]pyridin-3(2 H)-ones and N-heteroaryl α-iminoketones

Abstract

Reaction of the title compounds gives compounds 1, 4, and 5 depending on the nature of the reagents. Some new reactions of 1 with retention or not of the bicyclic structure are also described.
