Abstract
Fission track detector is used to determine the range of fission fragments in air. A linear transmission curve is obtained for the number of fission tracks registered on the glass detector as a function of fission source to detector separation. Extrapolated range of fission fragments of 235U in air is determined to be 2.16±0.11 cm.
