Abstract
The f2(1270) tensor meson contribution to the ϕ → π0π0γ decay is studied within the framework of a phenomenological approach. The higher resonance is combined with the process involving f0 scalar meson intermediate state and chiral loop. Then, we estimate the coupling constant gϕσγ considering the effect of the ϕ-ϕ mixing and a set of values of σ meson parameters Mσ and Γσ. And also we investigate the effect of the coupling constant gϕσγ for the ϕ → π0π0γ decay considering different groups of the contributions. A comparison of our results with the ones existing in the literature is presented.
