Christy, J. W. Abstract Radial velocities and MK spectral types have been determined at the Flagstaff Station for 30 0 and B type stars which are within 60 in latitude and in longitude of the galactic anticenter direction. The velocities and spectral types are combined with published photometry, velocities, and spectral types for these and 26 other young anticenter stars to derive distances and velocities along the galactic radius. These stars lie in the anticenter spur of the Orion spiral arm. Eleven of the 56 stars are in the cluster NGC 1960. It is concluded that in this section of the spur (1) the non-Be type stars share the velocity of the interstellar calcium and are essentially at rest with respect to the local standard of rest, and (2) the Be stars and the cluster NGC 1960 share a velocity significantly negative with respect to the local standard of rest.
