Abstract
The democratic revolution in Poland historically prepared by the Great October Socialist Revolution, it its further development and continuation.Our people's revolution, we read in a report of the CC of the Polish United Workers' Party to the Second Congress of the Party, was historically prepared by the Great October Revolution and by the immeasurably important factor, the liberation of our country by the victorious army of a socialist state, which not only freed us from slavery, but also rendered us brotherly, comprehensive help in restoring our normal life and in constructing a new social order. … The social-economic basis and the purpose of our people's revolution is the peaceful construction of a socialist economy as a material and cultural base of a society free from all exploitation and class divisions.
