Abstract

The article contains the measurement equation which is the cornerstone of a gas flow value calculating by a variable differential pressure method. The shortcomings of the existing gas flow calculation methods are listed and ways of their elimination are shown. The case of the stationary and pulsing gas flow is considered. The solution of the measurement equation considering the influence of shift of phases between pressure difference and the flow value on the flow measuring accuracy of an expense at the gas pulsing flow is submitted. The causes of systematic gas flow measurement errors by the variable differential pressure method are considered. The results of pilot research about the influence of stream pulsations on the flow measurement error are shown.
