Abstract

This paper discusses the inequity in the placement procedure for admissions into federal tertiary institutions in Nigeria. This paper argues that the quota system in Nigeria does not encourage a level play field for admission seekers, therefore denying some their rights to education at the tertiary level and freedom against discriminations.
