Abstract

First results for the masses of the 0++ and 2++ glueballs obtained from a simulation of lattice QCD on a 43·24 lattice with the effects of dynamical fermions included using the pseudo-fermion method are reported. The masses are determined from the exponential falloff of adjoint line correlation functions. We find that \({M_{{2^{ + + }}}} < {M_{{0^{ + + }}}}\), extending an earlier result by Berg, Billoire and Vohwinkel for the pure gauge case to the full theory.
