Abstract

A scheme for generating all the primitive triplets of integers (a, b, c) that satisfy the Pythagorean relation a2+b2 = c2 is pointed out, and some interesting properties of these triplets are noted. These triplets are useful in the design of mechanics problems where right triangles other than the three well-known ones are desired.
