Abstract
If plant investment is an indicator, looking back on the past year in PV one cannot help but be impressed by the apparent health of the PV industry. Perhaps when viewed in isolation it has not done as well as pundits had earlier predicted. Nevertheless, when stood up alongside the other areas of electronics manufacturing, its progress is to be envied. This article provides an overview of manufacturing of PV cells and modules.
