Abstract

Medical application of the PULSAR Doppler radar millimeter-wavelength range measuring system is discussed. The possibility for remote measurement and analysis of heart rate and equilibrium function parameters is demonstrated. Various physiological parameters are measured synchronously in the single beam of the radar. To estimate the person’s functional condition, use of fractal parameters defined on phase plane of normal and pathological zones is suggested. An adaptable method for processing signals reflected from the patient is offered. The method reduces measurement errors.
