Abstract

Fellowship House began in May of 1973 as what is called a “psychosocial rehabilitation center“. Fellowship House, like other psychosocial rehabilitation agencies, is a private, not-for-profit social agency governed by our own board of directors. We are non-medical in orientation, although we have psychiatric consultants. We serve the severely psychiatrically disabled, primarily a chronic schizophrenic population, whose usage is voluntary. The major services offered are vocational, social, residential and case management.
