Abstract
A detailed interpretation of the PMR spectrum of the title compound is presented. Parameters include coupling constants across four bonds. Partial virtual coupling in the system ABMX is discussed in relation to this compound. With spin decoupling, this permits unambiguous determination of the relative signs of geminal and ( trans) vicinal coupling.
