Abstract
The protein pattern of human brain myelin was investigated by means of horizontal polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis in four cases of different inborn errors of metabolism, in one case of Turner's syndrome, and in two cases of Down's syndrome. The proteins of peripheral nerve myelin were investigated in one case of aspartylglycosaminuria. All specimens were taken at autopsy.
