Abstract

The aim of this paper is to illustrate a specific case of the circulation process in a logistics chain, which includes multimodal transport with the use of several transshipments and, of course, the active, multiple involvements of railway, inland water, and road transport in the entire logistics process. We will follow the circulation process of one of the basic raw materials in the production of steel, i.e., iron ore, and subsequently the circulation process of the final product, i.e., galvanized steel coils, which are one of the highest qualities, and most expensive steel production products.
