Abstract
As part of social anthropology, we explore the role of women in the local culture of the North Caucasian peoples, as well as the importance of the role of women in European society, through comparative analysis.
 Without a doubt, a man has more power as a keeper of the house, the hearth and family members. At the same time, women often have considerable informal power, especially in the domestic sphere.
 With the collapse of the traditional family and family relationships, the nation is degrading.
 The conditions of existence and development of the Caucasian family were completely different from European family existentialism.
 If the traditional community is built on mutual assistance tolerance, mutual assistance, then the modern European community on rationalism.
 It is noteworthy that the national (traditional) and world (global) culture, two worlds. In each of them, women play a significant role, determined by its natural properties.

Сведения о положении женщин в семье горцев содержатся во многих нарративных источниках, посвященных народам Северного Кавказа. Within the framework of social anthropology, we examine the role of women in the local culture of the North Caucasian peoples and European society through comparative analysis. Иерархия мужской и женской ролей фиксируется совершенно четко: он – субъект властных отношений, а женщина, при всей своей кажущейся слабости, далеко не безропотный объект власти, как, впрочем, во многих случаях её представляют. Поэтому честь женщины обязаны были оберегать все мужчины семьи и рода.
