Abstract

This study sheds light on the pearling and fishing professions in Bahrain as they have an important place in the economic history of the region and showed the nature of this profession and the working conditions of its cadres to accomplish a task that is not easy , but rather drains the effort and makes huge sacrifices. And preparing the supplies and tools for pearl fishing, with a statement of the work cadres and the distribution of task, as well as the places of diving seasons for fishing, how it is formed its types, weights and prices, and the taxes imposed on it. Different types of means to catch them and they became familiar with all kinds of fish and methods of fishing and reaping the abundant profit..
