Abstract
During investigations of lipid metabolism, mouse brain slices were incubated at 0°. Subsequent extraction of lipids followed by chromatographic analysis revealed the presence of three fluorescent components. These were not obtained from fresh tissue or from mouse brain slices which had been incubated at 37°. The present communication describes some of the characteristics of these components.
