Abstract

A clear observation of μ + e − events produced in an antineutrino heavy neon-hydrogen experiment using the Fermilab 15 ft bubble chamber is reported. The relative production rate, Vee yield, and scaling variable distributions are presented, and the events are interpreted as charmed particle production from ocean quarks.
