Abstract
This study envisages the problems of wave scattering in the spheroidal coordinates. The process of nonlinear acoustic waves scattering by the bodies with the elongated spheroidal form is analyzed. The nonlinear wave processes occurring between the incident plane and scattered spheroidal waves are described by the non-homogeneous wave equation. This equation is solved by the method of successive approximations. The occurring wave processes are described by the obtained asymptotic expression for the acoustic pressure of the second harmonic wave. The three-dimensional models of the stated problem of scattering in the spheroidal coordinates and diagram of scattering of the second harmonic acoustic pressure on the rigid elongated spheroid are represented.
