Abstract
One of the first countrywide nursing home dental programs was instituted in Cleveland by the Cleveland Dental Society in cooperation with Highland View Hospital’s dental home care and outpatient program. The problems encountered in the attempt to bring dental care to thousands of nursing home patients are discussed.
