The problems and countermeasures of tumor cell in current medical cell biology

Abstract

With the current tumor incidence in China jumping to the second in the world,it is becoming more important and urgent for the medical undergraduates to master the basic knowledge of tumor cell.But as being one compulsory course for the medical students,Medical Cell Biology left little room to the tumor cell education,such as the tumor-relating contents accounting only 5 percent in its current textbooks and takes less one hour within the overall course,respectively.Here we analyse 3 factors mainly attributing to the above imbalance in the education of tumor cell,and recommend a feasibility strategy.This article attempts to spotlight that the tumor cell education is substantial underemphasized in current course of Medical Cell Biology,and to impetus the attitudes of both the educators and undergraduates towards the integration of bench with bedside appropriately.
