Abstract

The article discusses the development of an interdisciplinary vehicle for the delivery of mental health services that is based in a private psychiatric hospital. One of many possible models, it offers an example of ways psychologists can develop innovative service programs that 1) preserve a professional rather than labor identity for providers, 2) maintain highquality services, 3) develop, implement, and evaluate innovative ideas, and 4) provide for financial security in a rapidly changing professional!economic climate.
