Research Article| October 01 2002 The Printer’s Manuscript Ronald E. Romig Ronald E. Romig Ronald E. Romig is Archivist for the Community of Christ (formerly the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints), headquartered in Independence, Missouri. He administers the church’s official records and papers in addition to its significant historical documentary collection. He has served as the president of the John Whitmer Historical Association and has been a council member of the Mormon History Association. He is currently vice-president of the Missouri Mormon Frontier Foundation. Romig received his M.A. from the University of Akron as well as archival training through Drake University. He is the author of a number of scholarly articles on the history of the Restoration movement.
