Abstract

Motivation: This project is created for the large number of remote areas (villages) of where the ambulance services and fire brigades are situated too far to be efficient for the first aid. The priests and church personnel where chosen to became first responders because they are motivated and because exists at least one church in every village of Romania. The project includes: first step of identification of the remote areas of the Romanian territory, second step of identification of the church personal for the first responder activity, third step of the European Resuscitation Council's BLS and AED training programs, done by the trainers of Romanian Ambulances Services Association and Maltese Hilfe and the fourth step of the establishing protocols of activity, between ambulance services and first responders teams.
