Abstract
The present status of the Gallium Solar Neutrino Experiment to be performed by the International GALLEX Collaboration is described. This experiment is now in its implementation phase. After a short introduction and an outline of the basic experimental procedure, details will be given on the following topics: — Gallium acquisition — Gran Sasso Underground Laboratory — Germanium extraction and conversion — 71 Ge counting — 51Cr source experiment — Time table of the experiment
