Abstract

Today both in our country and in other socialist countries a noteworthy fact is evident — heightened and, one might say, active interest in problems of the theory of socialist art. And this is by no means accidental. We see clearly here a living connection with the practical tasks of the day, with the important role played by high culture in the building of a developed socialist society and in the general advance toward communism.
