Abstract

Abstract: By empathizing with and listening attentively to early modern women's voices, elite and plebeian, we can learn more about their inscriptive practice. The essay upholds collaborative initiatives among early modern scholars, the need for exemplary infrastructure and criteria in sustainable digital editions, and the value of cross-Channel comparisons.
