Abstract
The silver sulfide (Ag 2S) nanoparticles were prepared by the reaction of AgNO 3 and Na 2S in the lamellar liquid crystal (LLC) formed by Triton X-100, n-C 10H 21OH and H 2O. The size of the particles is about 2–3 nm. The existence of Ag 2S nanoparticles can improve the lubrication of the lamellar liquid crystal.
