Abstract

ON February 19, Mr. Reid Moir spoke at the Royal Anthropological Institute on “The Age of the Sub-Crag Flint Implements”. It is now twenty-five years since the first traces of man were found in the Suffolk Bone Bed beneath the Red Crag. The Bone Bed is of very considerable geological -antiquity, and predates those deposits containing the earliest palaeolithic implements.
