Abstract

The ChallengeNative‐speaker norms remain influential in Korean language teaching and assessment, but do Korean language learners choose to emulate native‐speaker norms? This study investigates the choice of resisting the native norms made by Chinese learners of Korean, the largest group of overseas students in Korea.
